i2 Analytical announce opening of UKAS accredited Construction Materials laboratory in the UK

Complementing the wide range of construction, geotechnical and in-situ site services offered by i2, we are very pleased to start the year announcing the opening of our new UKAS accredited laboratory in Northampton.

i2’s geotechnical department first gained UKAS accreditation in 2015. As the needs of the industry have continued to grow, the addition of the new materials laboratory extends our commitment and reach of services to client projects throughout the UK. Our new materials laboratory offers UKAS accreditation for a range of earthworks, stabilisation and aggregate tests.

Using the latest technologies and techniques, our laboratory offers a local UK service and highly skilled technical team with vast experience in all aspects of materials testing, including civil engineering, aggregates, infrastructure, stabilisation, remediation and projects of national significance. The team are on hand to ensure that testing requirements are always met to the highest of standards, mitigating the risks to client projects and sites.

Our dedicated logistics team can provide sample collections from your site, direct to our lab, preventing samples being lost or damaged in transportation.

Les Jones, CEO at i2 Analytical says, “The investment in i2’s construction materials laboratory adds considerable capability to our extensive scope of offering and niche services we can provide to clients and their projects in the UK. Through the dedication of the i2 team I am delighted that we can enhance our accredited testing capabilities and laboratory facilities. As the business continues to grow in 2022, thank you for your continued support and trust.”
