We can provide a number of Quality Assurance/Quality Control measures including: Matrix Spikes, Matrix Spike Duplicates and Trip Blanks for Metals/Organics. All these measures enhance the quality assurance of samples. This is based on the SW-846 published guidelines.

The ESK is designed to be robust and fit for purpose, taking into account the guidelines issued from UKAS on deviating samples and sample integrity.

Further information on deviating samples can be obtained from the laboratory regarding appropriate containers, conditions and sample holding time.

When samples are received they are assessed for deviation on receipt based on the testing requested and carried out and assigned the following codes as appropriate: a = no sampling date, b =inappropriate containers for testing, c = holding time exceeded, d = inappropriate headspace in sample, e= temperature deviation, f= sample mass does not meet minimum required for testing.
