Geotechnical Testing at i2 Analytical

The Geotechnical testing department at i2 Analytical first gained UKAS Accreditation in 2015 and provides testing in accordance with British and European standards to provide clients with a high quality service.

Complementing i2’s established environmental and geotechnical laboratories, i2 Analytical are able to offer insitu testing and sampling with its Geotechnical Site Services team from locations based across the UK.

The geotechnical services provided at i2 supports a wide range of related sectors including; GeoEnvironmental consultants, Site investigation contractors, and Local Authorities Civil Engineering and construction companies, together with quarried and recycled aggregate (WRAP) producers. Complementing the wide scope of geotechnical testing available, i2 also provides site services across locations throughout the UK.

i2 Analytical has, from the outset, been keen to demonstrate its intent to be among the market leaders in the geotechnical sector and has invested in the latest automated testing equipment and reporting system by keylab2, this allows for a fluid transition of data from registration to reporting which can be in PDF and AGS 3.1 or 4.0 formats.

i2 are one of the leading laboratories within the sector to offer testing for both geotechnical and environmental services from the same facility.

The Geotechnical division offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise across a range of construction related sectors. The team are able to support clients with their laboratory and site testing needs and on hand to ensuring that client requirements are always met to the highest of standards. The in-house logistics services provided at i2 also provides the peace of mind that samples are collected and delivered safely to i2 laboratory for testing.
